Netflix: We The People — 2021
"The Bill of Rights" is the second episode of We The People, an animated series that teaches the basis of rights and citizenship in the United States, streaming now on Netflix. This music-led animated piece, featuring Adam Lambert, take us through a modern perspective to the 10 amendments to the Constitution.
I had the pleasure to be part of the initial concepting and visual development of the episode led by Andy Lyon and Audrey Yeo, and made together with an amazing group of talented people at BUCK!

My Role — Design and Illustration
Art Direction
Since the beginning, the idea of telling this story through tangible visuals was always present. We tried many different things, but in the end, we decided to go for a mix between paper, collage and illustration inspired by protest and street art.
Using this visual style, we'd be able to draw a connection between the essence of the Bill of Rights, and how is it experienced in modern life. Paper is not used just as a medium but as a visual representation of "speech". Paper is the most democratic of all mediums in modern history, allowing people to communicate, educate and fight for their rights.
